Tela Blanca…Lucas

Bonjour, 

voilà le troisième et dernier modèle de notre session “Tela Blanca” avec Lucas. Quand je suis arrivé à Barcelone, Lucas fut le premier modèle rencontré, je le connaissais en le suivant sur Instagram, j’étais admiratif de ses superbes shootings faits avec de grands photographes espagnols, Lucas a même pu poser pour la célèbre page de modèles roux “Red Hot 100”, comme d’habitude après avoir longtemps discuté du projet nous nous sommes retrouvés dans un lieu qui me semblait approprié. Je voulais un jardin pour cette séance photo mais mes recherches ne me conduisirent à rien de bien exceptionnel alors en parcourant un parc, j’ai découvert un mur à l’apparence ancien et fissuré entouré de fleurs et j’ai bien vite compris que c’est là qu’il fallait que j’aille. Lucas arrive le jour du shooting et je découvre à la sortie du métro un garçon  souriant et chaleureux qui n’hésite pas à me prendre dans ses bras comme deux bons vieux amis. Lucas est brésilien ce qui donne de larges indices sur cette belle énergie qu’il dégage, nous allons boire un café et je lui donne les derniers détails de notre shooting, nous parlons de nos vies respectives de la comparaison inévitable entre le Brésil et l’Espagne mais aussi de son goût pour la France et la culture française, il adore la chanteuse ZAZ (qu’il m’a chanté) et nous avons pu échanger en français, je lui ai appris quelques mots coquins pour séduire les hommes, toujours très utile! ;-)

Le shooting démarre dans une bonne humeur communicative, comme c’était le premier de la série “Tela Blanca”, tout était à imaginer sur quoi faire de ce tissu blanc mais son dynamisme m’inspira des poses amples où il a réellement pu jouer avec le tissu. Lucas a essayé beaucoup de choses sans avoir peur de le faire et j’admire cet état d’esprit dans cette époque où les modèles sont plus exigeants sur ce qu’ils vont exprimer face caméra. Il n’a pas hésité à ne faire qu’un avec le tissu et le résultat est absolument splendide avec la belle lumière de Barcelone dans un coin de parc au calme dans lequel nous avons pu nous exprimer librement. J’aurai pu l’emmener dans 1001 lieux de ce parc mais son énergie était si forte, si belle qu’il n’avait pas besoin d’un autre cadre, Lucas donne tout sur chaque cliché. 

C’est certainement l’une des séances photos les plus amusantes que j’ai pu faire, Lucas voulait de la musique on en a mis et il s’est mis à danser en m’entrainant dans sa danse et dans ses rires, j’ai adoré capturer ses mouvements notamment pour notre teaser vidéo à retrouver sur ma page Instagram.

Merci à Lucas pour avoir été le modèle idéal dans ce démarrage de projet, j’ai rencontré un magnifique modèle mais également une belle personne. 

“Tela Blanca” ne s’arrêtera pas là, il y en aura d’autres et j’ai hâte de mêler ce tissu blanc à de nouveaux modèles masculins. Merci de votre soutien et je vous dis à bientôt pour de nouvelles histoires! ;-)

Hello, 

here’s the third and final model in our “Tela Blanca” session with Lucas. When I arrived in Barcelona, Lucas was the first model I met, I knew him by following him on Instagram, I admired his superb shoots done with great Spanish photographers, Lucas even got to pose for the famous “Red Hot 100” page of red-haired models, as usual after discussing the project for a long time we found ourselves in a location that seemed appropriate. I wanted a garden for the shoot, but my search didn’t turn up anything out of the ordinary, so as I wandered through a park, I came across a cracked, old-looking wall surrounded by flowers, and soon realized that this was the place to go. 

Lucas arrived on the day of the shoot, and when I got out of the metro I discovered a warm, smiling boy who didn’t hesitate to give me a hug like two good old friends. Lucas is Brazilian, which gives us a lot of clues about the energy he radiates. We go for a coffee and I give him the final details of our shoot, talking about our respective lives and the inevitable comparison between Brazil and Spain, but also about his taste for France and French culture, he loves the singer ZAZ (which he sang to me) and we were able to exchange in French, I taught him a few naughty words to seduce men, always very useful! ;-)

The photoshoot got off to an infectiously good start, as it was the first in the “Tela Blanca” series, everything had to be imagined in terms of what to do with the white fabric, but his dynamism inspired me to do some loose poses where he could really play with the fabric. Lucas tried a lot of things without being afraid to do so, and I admire this state of mind in these times when models are more demanding about what they will express in front of the camera. He didn’t hesitate to become one with the fabric, and the result is absolutely splendid in the beautiful Barcelona light, in a quiet corner of the park where we were able to express ourselves freely. I could have taken him to 1001 places in this park, but his energy was so strong, so beautiful, that he didn’t need another frame; Lucas gives his all in every shot. 

 This was certainly one of the most fun photo shoots I’ve ever done, Lucas wanted music we put on and he started dancing pulling me into his dance and laughter, I loved capturing his movements especially for our teaser video to be found on my Instagram page. Thanks to Lucas for being the ideal model for this project start-up, I met a magnificent model but also a beautiful person. 

 “Tela Blanca” won’t stop here, there will be more and I can’t wait to mix this white fabric with new male models. Thank you for your support and see you soon for new stories ;-)
