Albert “Physique”

Bonjour à tous.

Ravi de vous retrouver pour un nouvel article avec cette séance réalisée en novembre dernier une fois de plus à Barcelone cette fois-ci avec pour modèle le très beau Albert.

Hello everyone. 

 Nice to see you again for a new article with this session done last November once again in Barcelona, this time with the very handsome Albert as model.

Cette séance photo a été réalisée par une belle matinée ensoleillée, Albert s’était proposé de faire des photos avec moi en dernière minute dans une journée où je n’avais rien prévu à la base et quel plaisir d’avoir fait sa connaissance. Non seulement il s’est adapté à mon projet mais il a aussi été très intéressant en pratiquant son français avec moi autour d’un verre avant le shooting. Nous avons parlé en français une bonne partie de cette session. 

This photo shoot took place on a beautiful sunny morning. Albert had offered to take photos with me at the last minute on a day when I hadn’t originally planned anything, and what a pleasure it was to make his acquaintance. Not only did he adapt to my project, but he was also very interesting in practicing his French with me over a drink before the shoot. We spoke in French for most of the session. 

La première idée était de faire ce shooting dans la zone olympique de Montjuic où s’étaient déroulés en partie les JO de 1992 en partie. Malheureusement une icône pop (Madonna) était en concert ce jour-là dans la salle de spectacle voisine bloquant tout accès à la zone, nous avons donc dû aller ailleurs et j’ai pensé à la piscine olympique située plus haut, lieu de tournage du clip “Slow” de Kylie Minogue (autre icône pop).

The first idea was to do the shoot in the Montjuic Olympic area, where part of the 1992 Olympics were held. Unfortunately, a pop icon (Madonna) was in concert that day in the nearby auditorium, blocking all access to the area, so we had to go elsewhere, and I thought of the Olympic swimming pool further up, the location for the “Slow” video by Kylie Minogue (another pop icon).

Je pensais que la piscine serait fermée mais à mon grand étonnement, elle était ouverte et accessible au moins sur la partie gradins avec une vue imprenable sur Barcelone. J’étais si heureux de shooter là, ce cadre que j’avais tant vu dans le clip de “Slow” etait juste incroyable. Albert y a posé en pantalon et sous-vêtements, en haut des gradins des tables où le public mangeait en nous regardant, être trop dénudés aurait pu nous causer des ennuis. Les poses sont donc celles d’un homme qui contemple tel un rêve éveillé la ville.

I thought the pool would be closed, but to my astonishment, it was open and accessible at least on the bleacher section, with a breathtaking view of Barcelona. I was so happy to shoot there, the setting I’d seen so much of in the “Slow” video was just incredible. Albert posed there in pants and underwear, at the top of the bleachers at tables where the audience ate while watching us, being too naked could have got us into trouble. The poses are those of a man gazing out over the city in a daydream.

Albert était incroyable doux, souriant et sensuel dans son maillot de bain blanc, j’ai apprécié mettre son corps athlétique en contraste avec toutes les lignes d’architectures autour de lui. L’alternance entre les couleurs chaudes de la pierre et froides de l’eau font aussi un très bel effet. 

Albert looked incredibly soft, smiling and sensual in his white swimsuit, and I enjoyed contrasting his athletic body with all the architectural lines around him. The alternation between the warm colors of the stone and the cool colors of the water also had a very nice effect. 

Un grand merci à Albert pour avoir posé pour moi dans ce lieu qui m’a tant marqué, je suis très heureux d’avoir pu faire sa connaissance, un très heureux hasard.
